BIO

Dr Rajesh Singh Kadian is an Indian origin American medical practitioner with specialization in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine with nearly four decades of experience. He is an Indian Army veteran, having participated in the 1971 war. He is an alumni of the Armed Forces Medical College. Currently he serves as the chairman of US-India Security Forum (www.usisf.org). His focus is on military and strategic affairs.
Apart from medicine he pursues his major interests in geopolitics and nuclear strategy issues with respect to India, Pakistan, and China. He comes from a military family and has examined Indian strategic issues from close quarters for a number of years.
Since 1990, he has published critically acclaimed and engagingly readable books on The Indian Army, India’s SriLanka Fiasco (1987-1990), The Kashmir Tangle, and Tibet, India, and China. He has also authored six books on South Asia. He has contributed to numerous talks, talk shows, articles, reviews, and chapters.
