Sharon is the Minister of State for the Environment in the Federal Government of Nigeria since August 2019, prior to which she was the Chief Executive Officer of the Pension Directorate. She has over 30 years of post-graduation experience as a legal practitioner, business development consultant, pension administrator, politician and social activist. She is passionate about the environment and a strong advocate for women and youth inclusion in governance and climate action.
