Ambassador M K Bhadrakumar was a career diplomat with over three decades of service. He was the ambassador to Turkey and Uzbekistan. In his long career, he has served in the territories of the former Soviet Union, Pakistan, Iran, Afghanistan, South Korea, Sri Lanka, and Germany. He is now a prolific writer and writes mainly on Indian foreign policy and the affairs of the Middle East, Eurasia, Central Asia, South Asia, and the Asia-Pacific.
