TPF is a registered, non-profit, non-partisan, public charitable trust. The Peninsula Foundation (TPF) has been granted registration with salient activities as ‘Education’ u/s 12AA of the Income tax Act, 1961. All contributions made to TPF are exempt from income tax act as per section 80G 5(vi) of the Income Tax Act of 1961. In accordance with General Circular No.21/2014, page 11, point 6, issued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, research grants given to TPF comes under CSR under the category of “promoting education” as per Schedule VII of the Companies Act 2013. TPF values its relationship with other NGOs engaged in Public Policy research, international affairs and security studies. The TPF will work with these organisations and provide a forum to network with peers, connect with government and private sector actors and join national debates on key issues. The TPF offers membership at reduced rates for NGOs and Charities.
Even if you are not a member, you can volunteer your time to support the work of TPF. As a volunteer you will play a crucial role in advancing the mission of the organization and learn about various issues about policies, governance, national and international affairs, political affairs and gain valuable experience.
